With the advent of Intravenous Stopcock it is easy to deliver drug to patients in safely and efficiently

The Intravenous Stopcock (ISC) is a device that is used for the infusion of medicine into the bloodstream. It is used to provide patients with intravenous access to medicines. The intravenous stopcock is most often employed in conjunction with an Injection Pump to supply intravenous medicines to the patient. The use of IVS is one of the most common techniques in a hospital.

The intravenous stopcock consists of two parts; the main body piece and the accessory piece. The body piece is the part that holds the fluid from the pump. The pump is the part that infuses the medication into the bloodstream.

The first part of the intravenous stopcock consists of the main body piece, which is a simple tube. This is connected to the pump through an airtight seal. This piece also has two rings on it. One ring is for the patient to insert his finger into to administer the medicine and the second ring is for the pump to administer the medicine to the patient. The main body piece has three small tubes that are connected to the rings on the body piece. The tubes that are connected to the ring on the main body piece can be filled with either fluid or medication. The tubes that are connected to the ring on the accessory piece can be filled with a mixture of both fluid and medicine.

The second piece of the intravenous stopcock consists of the body piece attachment assembly. This assembly connects to the pump through the same airtight seal. The pump and the attached adapter piece allow the user to easily place the accessory piece into the pocket that the pump goes into. This allows the doctor to fill the bag with medicine or fluid anytime the patient requires it.

Intravenous units are considered to be one of the simplest ways to administer medicine. They provide a quick and easy means to administer medication to a patient. Doctors are able to provide medication to their patients quickly and easily. The intravenous unit is one of the most basic forms of medicine delivery and is easy to use. As with all medical devices, the intravenous stopcock should be handled with care.

Countries such as Japan and Germany are witnessing strong demand for medical equipment device due to increasing development in the healthcare infrastructure.
